26.10.2011 Silvasti made a contract for buying new type "tower adapters" from Scheuerle Fahrzeugfabrik from Germany. The system will be a brand new one and it is developed in co-operation with Silvasti and Scheuerle. This system will be introduced in spring of 2012.  

25.10.2011 Silvasti has signed a transport contract of the biggest wind turbines in Finland. These turbines will be the new Vestas V112- models. A rotor is in diameter 112 m and the hub height is 119m. The biggest transports will be the 120 ton Nacelles with 54,6 m long blades.

30.8.2011 Silvasti has made a transport and erection contract of the first Sinovel wind turbines in Europe. The first turbines will be installed to Sweden in the end of this year.

6.1.2011 Silvasti has acquired the business operations and the special transportation equipment from a Swedish transportation company, Rolf Thorhagen Ab, on 31st  of December, 2010. The equipment is designed for wind energy transportations. Silvasti Ab starts operating in Sundsvall in the beginning of January. 2.11.2010 Silvasti´s new Mighty Actos 4165, 8x6. It will be used for the heaviest transports.

31.8.2010 Silvasti bought new skidding and lifting equipment which can handle up to 120 tons. Silvasti also has jacking equipment which can handle up to 300 tons.

9.8.2010 Silvasti Ltd received a new 3-axle extra low Faymoville's low loader. The loading height is 35 cm and the payload in Finland is 60 tons.

23.7.2010 Silvasti Ltd bought a set of scales for weighing heavy transports.

23.4.2010 Silvasti Ltd recieved a special acknowledgement in ESTA  Awards 2010. The Excavator -project executed by Silvasti Ltd. was nominated in the highly qualified final group, but it did not win this year. However, we are very proud of this positive attention!

10.3.2010 One the largest projects from year 2009 executed by Silvasti has been nominated in Esta Awards of Excellence -competition. This project included transports of eight evaporators from Varkaus, FIN to Väröbacka, SE. More information of this competition you can find: www.esta-eu.org

2.3.2010 Silvasti Ltd has signed a transport contract for transporting Finland's biggest brige blocks to Kasnäs Islands in Southern Finland. The bridge is made of five sections. Each section is about 100 m long and weights about 200 t. Contract includes loading sections to barges and barge transports to Kasnäs. 12/09 Silvasti Oy received a major order from Ruukki Ltd, which included deliveries of oversized steel constructions for the Bridge of Kyronsalmi in Savonlinna, Finland. This project includes 40 special transports and the total weight of cargo is 1360 tons. Deliveries start in December 2009.

06/2009 A wind power project in Uljabuoda, Sweden. In August of 2009 Ville Silvasti Oy will transport 4 x 3 MW wind turbines on the top of the Uljabuouda's arctic mountain in Nothern Sweden. Silvasti's crew made route surveys in June, and necessary operations will be completed prior transports. This project will be extremely challenging. 05/2009 Ville Silvasti Oy transported the 80 meter long chimney in four sections from the factory to the installation site. More information can be found from the references.

05/2009 Ville Silvasti Oy was in Logistics and Transport 2009- exhibition in Helsinki Exchibition and Convention Center. The New DVD of Silvasti, including a company presentation and video material of the most interesting transports, was released in the exhibition.

20.9.2010 Silvasti Logistcs transported huge bridge blocks, the biggest ones ever made in Finland, to Lövö's bridge construction site. The biggest blocks were 114 m long, 11 m wide and the weight was 240 tons. More information can be found in References.

03/2009 Ville Silvasti Oy received a new Volvo FH16 580hv 6x4 heavy duty tractor.

02/2009 Ville Silvasti Oy received two new Nooteboom low loaders. The 4 axle unit has payload of 75 tons and the 2+4-axle unit can carry up to 90 ton loads.

30.8.2010 The charter shipment from Finland to Poland In August 2010 Silvasti Logistics shipped 2100 cbm bio boiler equipment from Finland to Poland. More information can be found from References.

01/2009 Ville Silvasti Oy signed a major contract for delivering 13 x 3 Mw wind turbines to Aulepa, Estonia. This project includes about 100 special transports from Finland and Poland to the Aulepa Wind Park.  

28.5.2010 Silvasti Logistics has signed new contracts for the year of 2010. The business is improving and looks better than few months ago. More information of upcoming projects will be given later.

08/2008 Ville Silvasti Oy received the new Mercedes Actros SLT 8x4 heavy duty tractor in August 2008. The Actros has a torque converter and it is designed and equipped for the heaviest loads. It can move up to 250 ton combinations.

04/2008b 04/2008 Ville Silvasti Oy receives the new Nooteboom 8 - axle extendable semitrailer with the payload of 120 tons.

23.4.2010 Silvasti Ltd received special acknowledgement in ESTA Awards 2010 -competition. Väröbacka Evaporator - project executed by Silvasti Ltd. was nominated in qualified final group, among 5 best special transports over 120 to in Europe. We are very proud of this attention we got!

04/2008a The heavy duty Scheuerle module axles have arrived and they will be moving the heaviest loads in May of 2009.

13.4.2010 Silvasti Logistics will continue transporting wind mills in Northern Sweden. The project  that started in Uljabuouda will continue. Six of 3 MW wind mills will be transported during the next two months. More info and photos will be found from these pages later.

01/2008b 01/2008 Ville Silvasti Oy signes a contract with Finnish wind tubine manufacturer Winwind for delivering 2 x 3 MW turbines to Riutunkari Wind Park, Oulu, Finland. Deliveries will be completed during January - February 2008.

1.10.2009   Silvasti Logistics completed the demanding wind turbine project in Uljabuouda, Sweden. The project included delivery of 4 x 3 MW wind turbines on the top of Uljabuouda arctic mountain in Nothern Sweden. More information can be found from our Reference - page.

31.7.2009 Silvasti Logistics signed a contract for delivering a biomass boiler plant to Estonia. Project will include ten very demanding special transports from Finland and Hungary to the installation site in Pärnu, Estonia. Dimensions for the biggest furnace units are 12 x 6,9 x 4,06 m and weight á 75 tons.

28.6.2009 Silvasti Logstics signed a major contract for delivering boiler plant equipment to Jordbro, Sweden. The cargo is transported during the summer in several special transport convoys from Poland and Finland.

27.3.2009 Silvasti Logistics has received an order concerning a major scale Wind power -project in Northern Sweden. It will be executed in August 2009.

4.3.2009 Silvasti has successfully completed a major evaporator project. Due to weights and dimensions of the cargo and winter conditions, the project was very challenging.
